LEV’s Story :

Lev was founded by Personal Stylist Krystle Marks. As a stylist, Krystle saw a gap in the clothing market that wasn’t serving her clients. There are 5 beautiful body shapes women possess, but unfortunately, mainstream clothing manufacturers design for only 8% of American women. Krystle also learned information about women working in the garment industry that changed how she saw it forever. There are 40 million garment workers in the world today. 85% of them are women making less than $3 a day. Extreme poverty puts women at higher risk of sex trafficking, domestic abuse, and slave labor.

After much consideration, Krystle closed her personal styling business to pursue creating a clothing brand that would take women empowering women to a whole new level. In a complementary partnership and shared passion for women, Abby Felix Winzenried joined Lev to run its operations.

Each Lev design celebrates multiple body shapes encouraging women to feel beautiful in their own skin.

We believe empowered women empower women. Lev partners with Work + Shelter and Sonica Sarna Design for the ethical production of our clothing. Our partnerships create job opportunities for at-risk women living in the slums of New Delhi.
