Cival Jewelry Pop Up!

Cival Collective is a creative, women owned jewelry design company whose shop extends beyond conventional bounds. As both retail store and studio Cival offer fully custom fine jewelry, antique restoration, and handmade semiprecious collections inspired by classic historic design imbued by modern ingenuity.

Rae Frye started Cival in 2013 and has since fostered the company to hold many other artists and designers collectively working on a variety of signature designs, antique restorations and custom fine jewelry. As the creative director, owner, and one of the leading designers, Rae is able to use her experience and perspective to keep evolving Cival into the design house they have always dreamed of making. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Shepherd University, and 14 years of jewelry design and benchwork experience, Rae's design practice is a fusion of intuition and meticulous attention to detail and experience.

Rae’s design approach is intuitive and balanced combining unexpected color variations and structural elements. The result creates pieces that are familiar and also innovative — seamlessly blending the best elements from different eras to create new timeless design. With an innate understanding of jewelry underlying design principles of balance, Rae's creations are unexpected, unconventional and color curious.  A conduit for personal expression and artistic exploration.

Art Walk Stoughton 2024 returns for its sixth annual art event to take place in Stoughton’s Arts & Entertainment District.  It takes place the last Saturday of September, rain or shine, in Stoughton, WI’s historic downtown Arts & Entertainment District. Here, fine artists, fine craftsmen, musicians, and more will be hosted by our own local shops to showcase their work and present an expansive gallery tour experience.

There is a diversity of art mediums and range of prices available for art collectors and new art buyers.

Art Walk Stoughton is a celebration of art, food, music. Come support local and regional artists while shopping and dining with us – experience all that Stoughton can offer!

The Bounty Madison is an incredible vintage shop showcasing clothing, books, decor, objects and and house artists. These narratives change seasonally for the Bounty and we are so lucky to have one installed in our shop for three weeks! From May 9th - May 26th.

Koselig | Hammered Cuff Metal Smithing Class with Cire' Alexandria

FRIDAY DECEMBER 29th 

Join Cire' Alexandria in her studio to learn how to create a hand hammered cuff bracelet for yourself or a loved one!

In this small and intimate of 4, you will learn the tools and basics of forging, hammering and sampling with metal smithing tools. You will learn to cut, file and shape your metal cuff. You will get to choose from wire stock or sheet metal to create your cuff. 

You will leave with one finished metal cuff. 

Class time includes small sips and light bites.

Koselig | Stamped Charm Metal Smithing Class with Cire' Alexandria

THURSDAY DECEMBER 28th 

Join Cire' Alexandria in her studio to learn how to create a hand stamped charm pedant for yourself or loved one!

In this small and intimate class of 4 people. You will learn the tools and basics of sampling with metal smithing tools. You will learn to punch out a disk or cut your own shape with a jewelers saw as well as filing, finishing and stamping patterns and designs. 

Choose to finish with a pair of earrings or a necklace. 

Class time includes small sips and light bites.

Koselig {Koo-sh-lee} is a concept which is deeply rooted in Norwegian culture. I would describe it as the feeling of coziness and being comfortable, but it often involves being in a social setting with others rather than being alone.

The downtown merchants have created a week of classes, tastings, demos for a spending extra special time with family this year.

Join us November 9th from 5:30pm to 8:00pm at Dune Gift and Home in Stoughton, WI! We are opening the store after hours just for you!

The holidays are upon us and we know you have entertaining to do this season, but what do you serve before the main course and how do you make it pretty? Charcuterie 101 is the perfect place to learn! Tricky Foods will cover the basics of creating a charcuterie and cheese board for any season. This includes understanding key design rules, the color wheel, and color balance. No experience is necessary!

Hosted by a trained charcuterie artist from Tricky Foods. Join us to learn how to create the perfectly eye-pleasing, mouth-watering charcuterie board! After this class, you’ll be able to wow your guests with your newfound talent of creating salami roses, orange flowers, and a visually (and tasty) balanced snack tray.

This evening will not just be about crafting charcuterie, but also having fun! So bring your gals, your pals, your loves, or simply bring yourself … you won’t want to miss this fun event!
